Please read carefully, before booking a biking excursion.

I’ll use electric bikes for all my biking itineraries. You might not be familiar with them, but they are the best to “face” Tuscan steep hills. They work and look like regular bikes and they offer you extra help any time you need, at the choosen pace. We’ll give you details and the chance to practice before leaving. Bikes are new and of a high quality, Shimano gear shift and Bosh or Samsung engine are provided.

As shown on the picture you can have 5 different levels of extra help – in case of Bosh – and 3 levels of help in case of Yamaha. Easy to use, you’ll have a display and a gear shift.

Some routes will be asphalted, some other will be on gravel roads. We assume you know European street signs, you take care of yourself and watch the traffic. We kindly recommend you to wear bright colors.

Regular bikes can be available too.

Teenagers should be already familiar with biking and if younger than 14 they are usually not admitted, but the most important thing is their size. We need to be at least 140 cm (4,59 feet). Helmets will be provided and mandatory. You agreement on terms and conditions  – see the specific page – is a must, in order to take part to the excursion.

In case of very bad weather conditions, excursion might be cancelled. In such a case I’ll be happy to take you on a walking tour of Siena or other villages close by. If so, no bike rental will be charged.

Please make sure you read and agree with the terms and conditions page before you sign up for. Our e-bike providers do have travel insurance included, although so, we highly recommend to have your own insurance and travel protection.
